PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure an amount of discharge at each nozzle to uniformly apply all patterns, when forming a film by ink jet direct drawing such as drawing when forming an SED element film.;SOLUTION: This evaluation method of a liquid discharging head includes liquid in which an application substance is dispersed or dissolved, the liquid discharging head having a nozzle to discharge the liquid as a liquid drop, a liquid applying device to apply an application substance on the surface of an object to be applied by discharging the liquid drop from the liquid discharging head, a shape measuring means to measure a three-dimensional shape value of the application substance applied and deposited on the object to be applied, and a volume calculating means to calculate a volume value of the application substance from the shape-measured value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
