EPSP synthase enzyme domain that confers glyphosate tolerance

In seed bacteria, plants, plant cells, tissues, compositions and methods for conferring resistance to glyphosate are provided. Compositions, and nucleic acid molecules EPSP synthase enzyme novel and the like, the nucleic acid molecules encoding such enzymes, a host cell comprising said vector and a vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule thereof. Novel protein comprises a sequence at least one domain selected from the domain as provided herein. Sequences of these domains may be used to identify EPSP synthase with glyphosate resistance activity.
