HS-SCCH (High Speed Shared Control Channel: The high-speed joint ownership control channel) method and the device which offer quick detection are disclosed. As for HS-SCCH, HS-DSCH (High Speed Downlink Shared Channel: The high-speed down link joint ownership channel) the information which is necessary in order to receive the data which is minded is transmitted. This device, through plural HS-SCCH, receives the message which is sent. This device, through respective HS-SCCH, measures the channel quality for the message which is received. As for this device, threshold test is executed by comparing with the threshold which can decide channel quality beforehand. And this device selects HS-SCCH which possesses best channel quality from midst of HS-SCCH.
