CYCLONE TYPE CLASSIFIER AND CLASSIFYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type classifier of a small size and simple structure, with excellent classifying performance.;SOLUTION: A supply port 6 for supplying raw material powder and compressed air is connected to a cylindrical classifying chamber 5 with a height shorter than a diameter in a tangential direction. An exhaust pipe 7 sucking air in the classifying chamber and discharging it to the outside together with fine particles is connected to the central part of the classifying chamber 5. A collection chamber 9 is bulged on the outer peripheral wall of the classifying chamber at a position not facing the supply port 6. The raw material powder and compressed air are revolved in the classifying chamber to classify the raw material powder into fine particles and coarse particles, and coarse particles with large particle sizes are collected in a collection chamber 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
