PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect relevance between areas in the brain from time series functional brain images. PSOLUTION: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a functional brain image analysis apparatus includes: a functional brain image input part for inputting time series functional brain images; functional brain image analysis means for dividing the functional brain image into a plurality of areas on the basis of the time series corresponding to respective pixels in the functional brain images and calculating representative time series being time series representing respective divided areas; network structure extracting means for calculating an index showing strength of relevance between the respective divided areas on the basis of the representative time series in the respective divided areas and setting links between divided areas of strong relevance thereby extracting a network structure where each divided area is defined as one node; and a network structure output part for outputting the network structure.
