PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, when a longitudinal circular catch basin is provided to heighten the collecting capability, the thickness of a member of a U-shaped drainage trench is increased due to overcoming shortage of the strength, so that the weight is increased to lower the work efficiency in the U-shaped drainage trench with a lid for constructing a trench for drainage installed in a ballast between railway tracks.;SOLUTION: This water permeable concrete product for a trench constructs a trench in the vicinity of the track of the railway by connecting the plurality of concrete products. This concrete product includes a pair of opposite side walls; and a base plate connecting the lower end parts of the side walls to each other, wherein at least one side wall includes a trench member having a plurality of through holes for passing water existing outside after installation; and a lid member at least a part of which is in contact and held between the side walls of the trench member.
