PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for punching sheet metal and a punching device for sheet metal providing the same die with which it is of course that the sheet metal is not more than 0.8 mm and the generation of burrs is satisfactorily suppressed and punching is performed to the sheet metal of ≥0.8 mm.;SOLUTION: The punching device 1 for sheet metal is provided with an upper die holder 2 which is elevated and lowered with a hydraulic ram or the like, a pressing plate 3 which is fixed to the upper die holder 2, a pressing pad 5 which is hung down from the upper die holder 2 through an elastic member 4, a punch holder 7 which is constituted as a punch unit fixed to the pressing pad 5 through bolts 6 or the like, a lower die 9 on which the thin sheet metal 8 to be punched is placed and the die 10 which is embedded in the lower die 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
