PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal condition detecting apparatus capable of reliably determining an abnormal condition in response to failure caused by the deterioration of parts without being misguided by accidental failure in each packaging process in a packaging machine for bagging, and displaying the kind of failure to inform of the time of replacing the deteriorated parts. ;SOLUTION: An abnormal condition detecting apparatus has respective detecting means 61 adapted to detect failure in each packaging process, a control unit 62 for determining an abnormal condition at a point of time when the number of continuous counts of the same kind of failure detected by the detecting means has reached a preset value, and a display unit 70 for displaying the kind of failure determined as an abnormal condition. The control unit 62 may further provided with a function of determining an abnormal condition at a point of time when the number of counts of the same kind of failure in the predetermined number of bags has reached a preset value, and indicating it in the display unit 70.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
