PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket for sterilizing and cooling a pouch having a spout which is capable of reliably cooling the pouch having the spout even when the swelling shape of the pouch having the spout is slightly changed, and a method for sterilizing and cooling the pouch having the spout.;SOLUTION: The bucket 10 includes a pair of front and rear walls 11 and 13, both side walls 15 and 15, a partition wall 17 forming a division 18, a bottom wall 19 for supporting a bottom part 6 of the pouch 1, and a top wall 30 for projecting and holding a mouth plug part 5 of the pouch 1. The top wall 30 has a peripheral wall 34 extending in the longitudinal direction and projecting in a rib shape therearound. The top wall 30 has an opening part 35 which is inside connection parts 31a and 31a of the top wall 30 to the front and rear walls 11 and 13, at the lowest position of an upper surface of the top wall 30 and forms a falling port of cooling water stored on the top wall 30 by the peripheral wall 34.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
