PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for immobilizing a chitosan-based enzyme, which maintains performances as a carrier for immobilizing the enzyme and can be collected by magnetic force, and to provide a method for efficiently producing the same.;SOLUTION: In a method for producing the carrier with magnetic property for immobilizing a chitosan-based enzyme, in which magnetic particles are formed in granular porous cross-linked chitosan so that the magnetic particles comprising ferrous ion and ferric ion occupy a certain range, granular porous cross-linked chitosan is added to an iron ion solution containing ferrous ion and ferric ion, and then treating the mixture with an alkaline aqueous solution to form the magnetic particles in the granular porous cross-linked chitosan.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
