PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch cover which is optimally applicable to a side ditch embedded in the ground without a side ditch cover on side ditch cover engaging portions, to a side ditch which is embedded in a heavy traffic area, or to a side ditch embedded in an area having a narrow road width, covered with a side ditch cover generating large rattle noise, or the like, to thereby achieve formation of a culvert-type side ditch.;SOLUTION: The side ditch cover 1 is molded on the cover engaging portions 4 which are arranged on an upper portion of a drainage hole 2 in the side ditch 3 so as to be laterally opposed to each other, and consists of a forming board arranged on the cover engaging portions 4 in a mountable manner, a concrete substrate portion 6 placed on the forming board in the cover engaging portions so as to have a desired thickness t, and a concrete surface cover portion 7 laid on the entire or part of the concrete substrate potion so as to have almost the same height h that reaches an upper surface of each cover engaging portion. The concrete substrate portion has reinforcements 8 arranged therein, and the surface cover portion 7 has slits 9 formed therein in its longitudinal direction I.
