PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining fish sex, capable of increasing accuracy of sex determination.;SOLUTION: A fish sex determination device 1 of one embodiment comprises a luminous means 10 generating an irradiating light for irradiating the body inside of a fish, a photodetection means 20 receiving a propagated light propagated in a part of the body inside of the fish or a reflected light reflected from a part of the body inside of the fish and outputting an electric signal having a value corresponding to the light quantity of the propagated light or the light quantity of the reflected light, a probe 50 inserted to the body inside of the fish, introducing the irradiating light to the body inside of the fish and introducing the propagated light or the reflected light to the photodetection means 20, and a determination means 41 determining the fish sex based on the value of the electric signal from the photodetection means 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
