PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous wound iron core that can be reduced in assembling man-hour and material cost by eliminating the need of a reinforcing material used for pressing a coil and making the structure of the core compact and, in addition, can reduce the no-load loss than the case where the magnetic material of the core is only a silicon steel belt, and to provide a three-phase five-leg wound iron-core transformer. PSOLUTION: In an amorphous iron-core transformer provided with a coil 3 and a plurality of amorphous wound iron cores 2 respectively interlocked with the coil 3, the amorphous wound iron cores 2 are adjacently arranged in the winding radial direction and have wound iron cores 1 formed by winding silicon steel belts in the outermost section in the winding radial direction.
