PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular filter system used for solving clinical tasks of preventing emboli that may cause cerebral hemorrhage or cardiac infarction with relation to carotid endarterectomy.;SOLUTION: This filter system comprises a near member 362 and a far member 366 having a first cavity 376 and a second cavity 378, and expansible balloons 364 and 368, in which the first cavity 376 is fluid-connected to a corresponding balloon, an intermediate part 370 disposed between the near member and the far member, and having a third cavity 374 fluid-connected to the second cavity, a fourth cavity 372 fluid-connected to the first cavity and a first expansion port, and a fifth port fluid-connected to a second port 384, and a vascular filter system 386 provided with a guide wire 390 insertable into the second port 384 to advance through the second cavity 378, and having a filter membrane support structure 388 and a filter membrane provided with a hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
