PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for moving an air duct, which can surely and adequately offer an efficient ventilation effect so as to be capable of easily attaining a control reference value as to a dust concentration in a tunnel pit. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus for moving the air duct 31 comprises: an air duct suspending part (air duct suspending device 1) which is arranged in an area near a top part of a cross section of a tunnel in the direction of the extension of the tunnel and by which the air duct 31, serving as a ventilating means for the tunnel under construction, is made to serve as the air duct 31 continuing over a prescribed length dimension and suspended in the state of being movable in the direction of the extension of the tunnel; and an air blower supporting part (traveling truck 2) which includes a self-traveling means 21 for self-traveling in the direction of the extension of the tunnel and supports an air blower 33 continuing into the air duct 31 for being suspended by the air duct suspending part (the device 1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
