PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a quantity of total chrome in a solid sample quickly and precisely with convenient operation even if Cr₂O₃ insoluble to any of acid, alkali, and water is included in a sample.;SOLUTION: The method for determining a quantity of total chrome comprises the steps of adding sulfuric acid to a solid sample and acid-decomposing the solid sample by heating; and adding a potassium permanganate to the acid-decomposition product of the solid sample and heating it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
