METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INTEGRATED ABUTMENT OF IMPLANT AND ONE BODY ABUTMENT OF IMPLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an abutment which is functional and mass-producible, by manufacturing an integrated abutment using a precise working machine, while taking the individual characteristics of a patient into consideration since the abutment is manufactured on the basis of 3D designed virtual teeth.;SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of generating a three-dimensional image of the oral cavity of a patient on a computer by three-dimensional scanning of a dental plate of plaster, obtained from the oral cavity of the patient, in which the implant fixture is implanted, a step of designing a virtual tooth, in consideration of a row of teeth in a region from which a tooth is missing, the height of adjacent teeth and alignment with an upper or lower teeth on the basis of the image of the oral cavity, a step of designing the shape of the abutment corresponding to the shape of the designed virtual tooth and fixed to the implant fixture, a step of transmitting data on the designed abutment to a precision machine, and a step of cutting the designed abutment using the precision machine to have a one body structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
