PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode which is superior in adhesion, with a current collector of an electrode, especially, a current collector of an anode and is superior in the swelling-resistance properties with respect to the electrolyte, and moreover, has a limited capacity deterioration in a charge/discharge cycle and is superior in charge/discharge characteristics, and provide a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode using the above composition, and especially, an electrode for a lithium battery, a lithium battery, and a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device. PSOLUTION: The binder resin composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode has a conductive filler dispersed in a solution containing a nitrile system polymer containing 80 mass% or higher of a repeating unit derived from a nitrile group containing monomer and a solvent, and there are provided a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode and a nonaqueous electrode energy device that uses this composition.
