PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the thickness reduction of an entire apparatus without lowering vibration impact attenuating performance.;SOLUTION: A vibration attenuation apparatus is provided with first and second mounting pieces 33 and 34 arranged on the respective surfaces of a recording and reproducing unit 21 and insulators 35 which are mounted on the first and the second mounting pieces 33 and 34. The respective insulators 35 are mounted on first and second insertion recessed sections 38 and 39 arranged on the peripheral section of an opening section 17 of a disk tray 11.
