PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controlling device, or the like, capable of recognizing predetermined additional information at a glance without the need of opening a folded page.;SOLUTION: At the time of outputting a different size mixed document, in the case of Z folding (A4 size), header/footer information is printed as designated. In contrast, in the case of Z folding (A3 size), header/footer information is arranged in relation to main body data so as to have the same position as that of the case of the A4 size after Z folding in appearance. For example, in the spread state, the header/footer information is printed at two points with the header/footer information positions disposed such that header information '99/12/31' can be recognized from the component printed in an area A ('99/1') and the component printed in an area D ('2/31'). Thereby, the header/footer information can be recognized at a glance as in the case of the non-Z folding paper in appearance without the need of opening a folded page.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
