PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system which is new to customers by making service providers such as Internet service provider(ISP) cooperate.;SOLUTION: A settlement confirmation processing computer is specified which performs settlement confirmation processing regarding an order of a customer by performing retrieval from a storage device storing information on the computers of service providers performing the settlement confirmation processing for each service provider by using information inputted by the customer at the time of ordering and specifying a server provider settling the order price. Further, customer authentication information of the service provider that the customer inputs is sent to the specified settlement confirmation processing computer. The settlement confirmation processing computer carries out customer confirmation processing and sends the processing result back. When the processing result is affirmative, order confirmation processing is carried out.
