Structured systems development for an Internet service provider using a modified systems development life cycle approach including analysis, design, and implementation.

In today's rapidly changing technological environment, it is important for companies to be able to communicate through the Internet. The companies that provide businesses with access to the Internet have to develop information systems for this purpose. There are structured methodologies used for systems development which involve the integration of work assignments and end products to produce the information system. The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is one such method which facilitates the control and coordination necessary to analyze, design, and implement an effective information system. This thesis presents a case study of an actual system development project for an Internet service company employing a modified SDLC as a planning tool.
