PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen whose condition can be kept as it is obtained and whose three-dimensional shape can be observed without mixing the surface and back surface of the obtained cuticle cells in preparing the specimen of the cuticle cells, a method for observing the cuticle cells using this specimen, and a means for preparing the specimen. PSOLUTION: This device for obtaining the cuticle cell specimen has a supporting part and a pressure-sensitive adhesive with a pressure-sensitive adherence for obtaining the cuticle cells from the skin supported by the supporting part and comprising a polymer compound which can be swollen and softened with water medium. A pressure-sensitive adhesive side of this device is tightly stuck to the skin to contact bonding and then, the contact-bonded device is peeled off from the skin. The adhesive of the peeled-off device is swollen and softened with the water medium, and the cuticle cells stuck to softened adhesive are transferred on a transfer part to obtain the cuticle cell specimen.
