PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member which regulates that the seal member for sealing the opening of a reagent container falls in the opening at the time of opening and closing of the opening and capable of performing smooth on-off operation, and the cap of the reagent container reduced in the number of constituent parts and simple in structure. PSOLUTION: The sealing member 5 is used for the cap applied to the reagent container and has a sealing part 5g undulated centering around a predetermined position to cover the opening of the cap, in a freely openable and closable manner. The sealing part 5g is constituted so that the extension part 5j, extending outside of the opening is provided to the outer periphery on the side of the predetermined position and is abutted against the upper edge of the opening with the opening covered with the sealing part.
