PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas flow type proportional counter for X-rays not requiring labor for change of a flow gas or decompression of the flow gas dependently on the wavelength of detected X-rays, not causing breakage of a window, inexpensive, sensitive to X-rays of long wavelength, having a high S/N ratio.;SOLUTION: The gas flow type proportional counter 10 for X-rays is constituted so that a mixed gas produced by mixing argon gas, helium gas, and methane gas at a predetermined volume ratio is made to flow as the flow gas for detecting X-rays.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
