PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ferrite hollow particle having a thicker shell than that of conventional ones, a shape closer to a sphere, a uniform particle size and high strength.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the ferrite hollow particle which forms a hollow structure by sintering each ferrite powder comprises a step (a) of mixing a resin powder and a ferrite powder having a smaller particle size than that of the resin powder while contacting them under pressure and forming a ferrite powder coated particle wherein the surface of the resin powder is coated by the ferrite powder in a state that the part of the ferrite powder is embedded therein and a step (b) of firing the resulting ferrite powder-coated particle and burning down the resin powder to sinter each the ferrite powder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
