PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuated virus having control effect on zonal internal bark necrosis of sweet potato and to provide a control technique utilizing the attenuated virus. PSOLUTION: The control technique has extremely slight virus symptom against root tuber of sweet potato and selects/isolates the attenuated virus capable of preventing occurrence of zonal internal bark necrosis of sweet potato by vaccinating the attenuated virus to a virus-free seedlings form the natural world and utilizes the attenuated virus.
