PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device controlling and returning a pointer driven by a step motor when supply voltage lacks.;SOLUTION: The supply voltage to the step motor of a control circuit is buffered by at least one buffer capacitor. Capacitance of one buffer capacitor supplies power to the control circuit of the step motor by the buffer capacitor until the control circuit moves the pointer driven by the step motor to a zero point related to scale of a display device or a non-critical indication value related to the scale of the display device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
