PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a sintered hard alloy having excellent wear resistance as well as corrosion resistance to molten metal while keeping the wear resistance and high strength inherent in boride-type sintered alloys and to provide a member for molten metal casting.;SOLUTION: Si is incorporated into the sintered hard alloy containing Mo, Fe, Cr and B in amounts within prescribed ranges to form the sintered hard alloy composed of two phases consisting of fine double boride and Fe-base binding phase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
