PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber material capable of providing the ink supply property compatible with various inks and high speed printing as well as facilitating the ink ejection, and a liquid storing container having the same.;SOLUTION: An ink tank 1 is provided with a PP fiber material (the sectioned part in the figure) 2 as a negative pressure generating member with respect to an ink-jet head for recording by ejecting a liquid over the substantially the entirety of the inside such that the liquid to be supplied to the ink-jet head is sustained by the PP fiber material 2 for storage. An atmosphere communication opening 3 is provided on the upper end of a tank housing. Moreover, an entangled PP fiber with the surface processed by a hydrophilic treatment is used as the PP fiber material 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
