PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output document management system, a server, a method and a program capable of managing processes from the output to disposal of documents.;SOLUTION: The output document management system is provided and it has a printer 4 by which a document ordered to be printed by means of a terminal connected to a network 1 is printed onto a form having a form ID for identifying the form, and an output document management server 2 that manages the predetermined document printed by the printer. The terminal requests the output document management server 2 to print the document managed by the output document management server, along with the document ID for identifying the document and the number of prints. When requested to print the predetermined document, the output document management server 2 orders the printer 4 to print it through a predetermined procedure. The printer 4 accepts the order of printing, reads the form ID of the form on which to print the predetermined document, and sends the form ID read to the output document management server 2. The output document management server 2 receives the form ID and registers the document ID along with the form ID in an output history DB 20 in which the history of documents printed is registered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
