PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim slip amount measuring method capable of measuring accurately a slip amount in various directions, and a device therefor. PSOLUTION: An electric resistance of a circuit is measured, which is formed from two parallel lead wires 5 fixed to a contact surface between a rim flange 2 and a tire 3, and one measuring conductor 6 stuck on a side wall surface 4 of the tire 3 and arranged to be in contact with each lead wire 5. Then, the rim slip amount is calculated based on a measured value of the electric resistance by utilizing the fact that a contact position of the measuring conductor 6 with the lead wires is changed corresponding to the magnitude of the rim slip amount to thereby change the electric resistance.
