PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience while maintaining safety by using obtained by imaging a face for individual authentication. PSOLUTION: In this entrance management system, an authentication device 200 stores average return time or estimated return time of KOUDA 700. When KOUDA 700 enters the inside 103 of a building from the outside 101 of the building, the face is imaged by an imaging device 111. When the authentication device 200 authenticates the imaged face, a threshold value used for the authentication is set by use of the average return time or the estimated return time of KOUDA 700, and success/failure of the authentication is decided by the threshold value. When it is decided that the authentication succeeds, the authentication device 200 issues an instruction to open doors 131, 132 to a locking device 120 and a door opening/closing device 130, and the doors 131, 132 are opened.
