PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument related to a measuring method using a microfocus X-ray CT apparatus and capable of more detailedly acquiring the image width necessary for the measurement of the annual ring age or density of wood or wooden cultural assets even if an imaging visual field is narrow. PSOLUTION: The annual ring width and density of the wood or wooden cultural assets is constituted of a moving means for moving a sample in an X-axis direction, a moving means for moving the sample in a Y-axis direction, a sample fixing means, a moving means for moving the sample in a Z-axis direction, an inclination means for inclining the fault surface of the sample and a rotary means for rotating the sample around the axis in the Z-axis direction. A center set full scanning method, an offset full scanning method, a center set half scanning method, a multislicing method or a cone beam method is used in photographing.
