PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a information summary reproducing device capable of executing summary reproduction, without reducing viewing and listening will of operator's. PSOLUTION: An information recording/reproducing device 100 records content data as well as feature quantity data in the content data, when recording received content data in a DVD 10 or HD 20, and manages reproduction frequency of the content data, when the content data are reproduced. When summary reproduction is conducted, the information recording/reproducing device 100 determines the frequency of reproduction of the content data, and a part required for the summary reproduction of the content data to be reproduced based on the feature quantity data recorded together with the content data, and performs summary reproduction based on the part of the content data determined.
