PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system control method capable of executing synthesized illumination having predetermined illuminance and predetermined chromaticity by solving a problem wherein, since respective emission light sources have different relationships among an applied current value, illuminance and chromaticity on an individual basis, it is very difficult to generate synthesized illumination having the predetermined chromaticity with a directed illuminance.;SOLUTION: The illuminance and the chromaticity for the applied current value is measured for every light source to calculate a mixing ratio of emission intensities from the respective emission light sources required for synthesizing the synthesized illumination having the predetermined chromaticity with the illuminance directed by a directed value by using chromaticity variation according to illuminance variation of the emission light sources and a color composition theory equation (ST 33). The illuminance of each emission light source for generating the illuminance directed by the directed value is calculated from the mixing ratio (ST 34).
