PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting channel scanning device and a digital broadcasting channel scanning method.;SOLUTION: NIT (Network Information Table), frequency list changing information or frequency information such as a carrier map are previously acquired, and the information is utilized to perform the scanning of a carrier. A plurality of channel databases are held, and an optimum channel database out of them is selected for broadcasting station information at an accurate timing. Thus, the efficiency of channel scanning is improved and no need exists for executing channel scanning which is performed each time when moving a mobile digital broadcasting receiver.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
