PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing a concrete rod member, which contributes to shortening of a construction period, reduction in construction cost, and achievement of reinforcing work in a narrow space, and is applicable to the case where a large-diameter reinforcing steel is used, and to provide a device for reinforcing the concrete rod member.;SOLUTION: According to the method, an anchoring member is formed of an internal angle steel (2) which has an inner shape following the shape of a corner of the rod member, an external angel steel (1), and steel plates (3) each interposed between sides of the respective angle steels. The anchoring members thus formed are mounted on the respective corners of the reinforced concrete rod member (4), and the anchoring members mounted on the corners adjacent to each other are fastened together by reinforcing steel rods (5) which are penetrated through the two sides of the respective external angle steels, whereby the reinforced concrete rod member is enclosed and reinforced in a direction orthogonal to its longitudinal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
