PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dolomite solution, or a calcium and magnesium solution, and further to provide a food and drink containing the solution. SOLUTION: The dolomite solution, or the calcium and magnesium solution is obtained by mixing a dolomite, or a mixture of a slightly water-soluble or water-insoluble calcium salt and a slightly water-soluble or water-insoluble magnesium salt, with an α-hydroxy monocarboxylic acid, its salt or an aqueous solution thereof, and a hydroxy polycarboxylic acid, its salt or an aqueous solution thereof. The food and drink contains the solution.
