PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring/operation system which makes a chemical plant, etc., which requises, interposition of an operator, operable in safe and optimal conditions.;SOLUTION: In the remote monitoring/operation system, the respective tasks 1-1 to 1-n asynchronously transmit requests to a request transmission queue 2 first. A queue management task 3 periodically monitors the request transmission queue 2 and when a new request is transmitted to the request transmission queue 2, transfers the request to a controller 5 by removing duplication of the requests together with the requests already existing in the request transmission queue 2. When the controller 5 once receives the request, periodically transmits information specified in it to a client 1. A reception task 6 receives the information from the controller 5 and write it in a memory 7. The respective tasks 1-1 to 1-n obtain the information by reading a place where the information which they need is written on the memory 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
