PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogenation catalyst capable of attaining hydrogenation of hydrocarbon up to the extremely high depth of a sulfur content ≤10 mass ppm and a nitrogen content ≤3 mass ppm.;SOLUTION: The hydrogenation catalyst of hydrocarbon oil is a catalyst made by depositing at least one kind of group 8 metals of the periodic table as active metal, at least one kind of group 6 metals of the periodic table and phosphorus on an inorganic porous carrier composed of oxide of at least aluminum, phosphorus and silicon. Therein, the chemical shift value of phosphorus in 31P-CPMAS-NMR of the inorganic porous carrier has a peak in the range of 0 to -20 ppm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
