PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily and highly accurately classifying and counting abnormal cells, such as immature leukocytes and abnormal leukocytes, and simultaneously classifying and counting normal leukocytes.;SOLUTION: The method is provided with a step for preparing a sample for measurement, by mixing a blood sample with a hemolysis agent and a pigment compound expressed by general Formula (I); a step of measuring the sample for measurement with a flow cytometer and measuring one scattered light and one fluorescence; and a step of classifying normal leukocytes into five groups and counting them, through the use of the intensity difference between the measured scattering light and the measured fluorescence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
