PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving bed type filter device shortened in a required time for a filter media drawing process, improved in cleaning effect and small- sized in the device. ;SOLUTION: In the moving bed type filter device provided with a filter media storage tank 15 connected to the top of a filter tank 10 with a filter media flow-in pipe 14, the end part of the filter media flow-in pipe 14 is opened upward above the bottom part of the filter media storage tank 15 and a water discharge pipe 26 is connected to the bottom of the filter media storage tank 15.
