PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganismal system enabling dioxins to efficiently decompose.;SOLUTION: This method for decomposing dioxins is characterized by comprising treating dioxins with a dioxin-decomposing microorganism belonging to the genus Terrabacter and a 2nd microorganism enhancing the decomposing activity of the former microorganism.
