PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate classifying apparatus 21 for transferring a printing plate 11 onto a plate storing truck 23 with the shorter direction of the printing plate 11 directed vertically and the longer direction curved like a leaning state.;SOLUTION: The printing plate 11 fed from a transferring line 15 is received on the outside arm 36 and inside arm 37 of a support means 34. When the printing plate 11 is received by the support means 34, the center 11a of the longitudinal direction of the printing plate 11 is supported like a bending state protruding downward relative to the opposite ends 11b. While the printing plate 11 is kept in a bent state, one side 11c of the shorter direction of the printing plate 11 is lowered and transferred onto the plate storing truck 23. While lifting the other side 11d of the shorter direction of the printing plate 11 on the plate storing truck 23 with a reversing means 35, the printing plate 11 is reversed and transferred onto the plate storing truck 23.
