PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight bridge plate by providing strength resisting to the load of a rail/road-going machine.;SOLUTION: The bridge plate 1 is juxtaposed between rails R, R for placing the rail/road-going machine on the rails R in a railway line, and the machine is crossed over the bridge plate 1. The bridge plate 1 is composed of upper and lower forms 2, 3, side forms 4, a large number of waste cans 5 arranged to the insides enclosed by each form and filling forms 6 burying the spaces of the mutual waste cans 5. The upper and lower forms 2, and 3 are formed of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a material having large compressive hardness in order to inhibit deformation at a small value because the forms 2 and 3 are brought into contact directly with tires W for the service car or a ground surface. The side forms 4 are formed of a polyethylene, from which the filling forms 6 on the insides are not exposed and which is difficult to flaw. In the waste cans 5, opened covers are removed and the waste cans for a soft drink on the market are utilized as waste articles, and a large number of the waste cans are erected and arranged at approximately regular intervals. The filling forms 6 are formed of a rigid urethane foam, which has low density and is lightweight and the deformation of which is comparatively small.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
