PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance crime preventability by providing a locking device which can inhibit illegal unlocking from being caused by hooking an inserted wire, rod or the like on a thumb-turn and turning the thumb-turn.;SOLUTION: In this locking device 11 with the function of preventing the illegal operation of the thumb-turn, an opening/closing body is equipped with a lock case which can be locked/unlocked by advancing/retreating a deadbolt by the turning operation of a duplicate key, inserted into a cylinder lock, from an outdoor side and by the turning operation of the thumb-turn 5 from an indoor side. The locking device is provided with: a cylinder lock 13 for cancellation which is the same as the cylinder lock and which is provided in an opening/closing body so as to enable the turning operation of the duplicate key by inserting the duplicate key from the indoor side; and an operation input canceling means 15 which is provided between the cylinder lock 13 and the thumb-turn 5 so as to disable the input of the turning operation into the lock case 3 by the use of the thumb-turn 5 by the turning operation of the cylinder lock 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
