PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject mixture capable of gradually and completely releasing an agrochemical active ingredient, capable of maintaining the activities for a long period, excellent in compatibility with the agrochemical active ingredient, and useful for labor-saving treating granular agent by mixing waxes having a respectively specific melting point and acid value.;SOLUTION: This mixture comprises a montanic acid wax and a montanic ester wax. The montanic acid wax has ≥60°C melting point and ≥100 mg-KOH/ g acid value, and the montanic ester wax has ≥60°C melting point and ≤25 mg-KOH/g acid value. The sustained release agrochemical preparation contains ≥5 wt.% mixture, 0.01-50 wt.% agrochemical active ingredient (having ≥100 ppm solubility in water and ≥100°C melting point), and an inorganic diluting carrier (e.g. calcium carbonate).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
