PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can adjust a shift transition volume of a pixel shifting digital camera with a superior precision at a low cost and in a short time. PSOLUTION: This adjusting method of the pixel shifting digital camera comprises a first process which arranges a sample for adjustment having a figure which has at least two linear end edges at a prescribed initial position to an imaging means, a second process which changes its relative position by setting drive voltage to a pixel shifting means, a third process which images the sample by the imaging means, a fourth and a fifth processes which obtain horizontal direction component value and vertical direction component value of transition volume from the initial position, regarding a some point on the end edge of the imaged figure, a sixth process which repeats the processes from the second to the fifth by setting new drive voltage to the pixel shifting means, and a seventh process which obtains drive voltage by which a relative position becomes a prescribed value, from the drive voltage set to the pixel shifting means and the horizontal and the vertical direction component values of the transition volume.
