PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply generate a random number sequence with specific probability distribution, standard deviation and correlation characteristic as an operator desires. PSOLUTION: A random number sequence generation device comprises: a gauss random number generation device 1 for sequentially generating a random number according to specific probability distribution; a memory 2 for storing the random number generated by a random number generation means in a first array of N-dimension; a memory 3 for storing a specific constant number in a second array of less number of elements than the first array; a memory 7 for calculating a product of an element on the first array and a corresponding element on the second array and storing as a third array of N-dimension a total.sum of the products calculated with respect to all the elements on the first array; and an output means 8 for outputting the third array as the random number sequence.
